The weekly classes will be structured in the following format:

1 Introduction to core skills of improvisation.

The Improvisation training focuses on learning to respond, extend and advance ‘offers’.
The exercises and games will equip you with skills to lead and to follow and be available to do either in any given moment.

2 Introduction to physical theatre and interpreting text.

The Physical theatre training focuses on telling a story with movement, rhythm and grace. Starting with rhythm exercises then layering on a range of simple movements.
These tools can then be used to interpret short pieces of text.
We can also start with text and find the movement and rhythm within it.
